Sometimes colours and colour mixes just sing to you and almost indicate what they will become.Whilst sorting out the studio and going through fibres and papers I found a template of a bag I made first many years ago.I remember my excitement when I made the first bag in this style and so have decided to include it in the book,in this delicious mixture .I am using lots of differing fibres some for strength hidden away some for decor and so on show and a lovely carded bat showing off the colours of my world.
The Turkish Dervishes have a special way of making the hat (sikke)and it is this custom of felting we follow with this bag.
Nicola and I are working so hard to get this book out in time for her American tour .
