Payable in 2 installments CHRISSIE DAY-FELTINGFIBRES Inspired by nature,and the beauty of the North Pennines landscape landscape,Chrissie creates wearable art pieces,sculptural pieces,wallhangings and jewellery.Chrissie has attended workshops all over Europe and Scandinavia and  learnt with many other international felters including Shiela Smith,Anna Gunnarsdottir,Jeanette Sendler. Chad Alice Hagen,Vilte,Jenny Compton,Annemei Koenen,CharityVan De Meer,Dagmar Binder,Dawn Edwards. Chrissie is also a member of Crafts Council,International Feltmakers Association,Surface Design Association,ALSC,Teesdale Artist Network. Group Exhibitions to date include Southwolds,McGuiness Gallery ,Bowes Museum Teesdale Artist Network exhibition,Eggleston Hall Garden Gallery,CrossLanes Organics. Chrissie work is now displayed in the gallery outside her studio at Farfield Mill Sedbergh Chrissie is an avid author of fibre related books and has 9 titles to date the latest being NUNO FELT sold by World of Wool as a downloadable ebook. Also from next week this title is available as a hard copy from Chrissie Day and Farfield Mill. Belgium Summer 2013 Charity Van De Meer International Felting Artist will cohost with Chrissie this 3 day workshop in Belgium this summer. This will be a unique opportunity to work with these 2 International Artists in a pleasing holiday situation honing your skills under the guidance of Charity and Chrissie as we create more Wearable Art screen-printing your own silks and scrim for Nuno Felting unique garments.
