Strange Times

The thought of my spring and summer garden plus huge piece of complicated fairisle knitting kept me occupied throughout the winter months of covid seemingly to be everywhere in the world.
Many friends lost their lives which is indeed sad but we should not ever take our next minutes for granted.

Not seeing my two children or my grandchildren was very hard and zoom was no replacement at all.Trave was curtailed teaching halted and galleries closed.

My mill studio and selling gallery closed and having taken Furlough money our place of work was also denied to us. With that occurrence and a full order book I had a studio built at my home looking up the valley to glorious views and sunsets.

Summer has now quickly started its journey into Autumn with the colours changing daily and the animal life seem to be preparing for Autumn.

It will be a quieter Winter than normal but maybe this is the new normalise I will prepare to hunker down again and pass the time carefully.
