stitching burning silks

I have been playing about with burning and stiching and overlayering silk panels to felt into bags and this one is so pretty do not know whether to felt it in ornot hmmm have to think about this

    I love this piece. It’s beautiful and the texture is fantastic. I’m not familiar with this technique. What do you use to burn the silk?

    Mmm, this does look yummy and very interesting! Is there already some wool fibre at the back of the panel or would you place it on top of your laid out wool and continue in this way??
