making a new top and desperate to get one which I can just throw on over whatever I am wearing within reason.
I have sketched my idea out and I have dyed some silk prior to making my nuno and steamed it to set .So often when I am doing a workshop or a book signing I am not wearing anything I have made and keep getting asked .
I do not wear my jackets they just pile up in the wardrobe so I have planned a garment I know I would wear.Click on the piccies to see.
Some of the samples are on a beautiful drapey knitted silk fabric which took the dye well.

Can’t wait to see this. I love the green that you’ve dyed above…So pretty for Spring. Also love the length of this piece. I found that I wore a couple of my Flax longer, looser, comfy clothing more than anything else in my closet this past winter. I’m about to purge everything in there that I no longer wear and just have things that I love, can throw on over just about anything and look pulled together.
