  2. So today I did the Cha-Cha to the amazement of the chickens in the hen-house…They loved every minute of it —– Really you should have seen the looks I got! I am making the secret jacket, and before I hung the matching rhinestone studded dance dress up to dry (never put your delicate dance dresses in the dryer…Every single sequin and rhinestone will fall right off!) I checked the garden for hidden cameras (don’t want anyone to see my newest Tango moves…Saving my best for next season’s Dancing With the Stars)…Didn’t find any, so I think Steph (one of my toughest Dancing with the Stars competitors) is still stateside, but have a watch on all ports and airports…ha-ha. Had an incredible brainwave at 3.ooam yesterday re the Chicken coop (which is the new name of my Dance Studio…You know how I love chickens…And, I’m sure you all remember that’s how I got my start in the dance world…I invented the now famous “Chicken Dance”, danced at all self-respecting wedding receptions), and put said brainstorm into practice…Really pleased with the result, needed to borrow a plate from the kitchen… Hmmm, did not please my husband losing plates to my studio but lost a template I needed. Also, hubby is still a bit sore as I stepped on his toes several times during our Quick-Step rehearsal (one must move at lightening speed for this one you know, or ouch!!! Not to worry, I’ll soon be posting a short video tutorial with some important pointers). It has been a good felting day and good for drying, even had 5 mins to test the sun lounger with the few rays beaming down on me. Yes, it’s true, some dancers prefer to use those spray tans…As for me, I prefer the more natural, sun-kissed look. So had several carrot sticks, no cake for this gal (those costumes show every extra ounce) and then threaded my needle and set about stitching the ribbons onto my ballet shoes, then sat here all day looking over catalogs of MATCHCHING COSTUMES on the settee. Took loads of piccies of the process, colours of Sugarplums dancing in my head… wow.
Chopper overhead all day…Must grab my binoculars to see what’s up…Can it be…Yes, it really is… Step and Dawn parachuting into the yard. Guess I’ll have to make the best of the situation and take them along on an all-expense paid trip to Copenhagen on Friday.

Hi Steph, just checked my calendar and I’m free on Friday…Copenhagen this time of year should be delightful…Just as your jacket is. That boost that you gave me to peer over the hedges did the trick and I don’t think Chrissie is on to us, what with all that dancing that she’s doing:-)

  3. This jacket is turning into a 3 way novel of comedy.I have posted gnome guards at all entrances to the village .The postman has been recruited to ‘alert’ to strangers,Oh my I cannot do anything for laughing it is a good job a lotta miles separate us all,we would be lethal together.Suggestion –one time we could all meet up in Stockholm it is packed with yarn shops and stunning scenery etc lovely

    1. Yah, sure, you betcha….(coached by husband who is of Scandinavian descent
and would have to accompany me as my personal bodyguard) I’m game for a over the blue sea trip. I have never been to Europe. Yarn shops, stunning scenery, creative friends…..what more could I ask for…..hmmmmm….the jacket? The sneak heart photo of the colors is making me drool. And using the heart….wow….my theme for 2010 in the studio is “Sharing LOVE with Creative Hands” and is a hand with a heart in it…..Makes me feel there is a happy mixing of energy with this creative jacket….BTW I’m at the post office and the postman is very comfortably secured in the closet. See you soon!
