Well been testing fibres and 1 was a bit of a disappointment so proceeded with my 2nd choice  and started the silk paper last night.Not going to give the recipe for this on here there are loads of web based info pages on doing this,make sure your colours tie in together

silk papers in pinks and blues done

lovely shades of orange and turqouise here nice mix

here we have the silk-paper inserted into the fibres and silk base  makes a nice effect do not cut the shapes too small

looks brighter here and I may make some more to pick up my colour choices better
