I decided the fabric for the Kimono I wanted it to be a bit different and therefore have been experimenting differing ways of getting the design onto the silk.I have worked with Carole Waller in a workshop to experiment with this idea.Using products i have not used before and screen prints was a steep learning curve but great fun.This piece was pigment dyes and they just sit on the top of the fabric so maybe not for me but good fun to learn .This next few pieces are dyes screen printed on a variety of silk types

seeing if silk would felt after being pigment screened was a nice surpise
