I love Christmas,every little thing,family,trees,log fires,christmas smells,pine cones,cloves,ginger,the whole shabang and tinsel too.
My tree has pieces collected over 40 years and every year I buy new pieces for my loved ones, this year a special new blown glass ball hangs in readiness for the future, and all the old favourites are there, even Mr Boon.
Today my new Wooden tree went up and an evergreen tree was planted in the garden.
This is the first year I have decorated the chapel after all our alterations and bookcases etc so it has been exciting.I made a descision not to have real trees inside,so I have a 7′ /2 metres white wooden tree and then buy a tree for my garden.
The window sills are so deep and decorated to suit where the window is.
Mixed fruit and berries at the end of the stairs on the Newel post.
My small round table ,my radio table has the first ornament I bought when I was expecting my son.He has sat every Christmas somewhere in my lounge area, sometimes he gets forgotten at 12th night and I catch sight of him weeks later.
In the kitchen my lighted Moon house shines as it has done for over 15 years now.Santas stand proud on guard normally over the Christmas cake.
Tomorrow will be more decorating and more pictures to follow.18 sleeps to go.
