Today Kath has gone to a better place with no pain and is at peace.At the end she slipped away and somehow life will never be the same again,I miss her allready but the cloak of friendship she placed around me will keep me warm in these cold times,and I will never forget her.I pray for all those she has left behind.RIP my dear friend C

Dear Chrissie,
I can feel your pain through your “words”. I only wish that there were words to express what I wish I could say to ease the hurt and loss that you’re feeling right now. I’m so very sorry Chrissie. You’re so right when you say that you can feel that “cloak of friendship” and that will truly live on forever. I was just thinking of that quote, and I unfortunately don’t know who wrote it, but it states that, “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.” We are never the same from the true friendships that we are blessed with. We are made better through the love that we share, even when it ends all too soon. Know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers, Chrissie. I’m lighting a candle at this very moment in memory of your friend, Kath, and in honor of your friendship.
