ok  so after a day of travel to pick up a new toy for me I am posting the latest on the jacket which is the buttons –made as described before but with the addition of some simple embroidery using some beautiful threads handdyed from 21st century yarns .I have stitched with these for over 10 years now and love them the colour range is divine .I have used 38mm buttons this time french knots here

this is th top of the pocket which is produced from the shoulder cutout

when itcomes to seaming the shoulder use an overlapped seam either by hand in backstith or use a machine .Once the stitching is done  we will re-wet this area  and rub across it will hide all stitches on your seamed area, or go over with an embelisher .
