At last summer seems to have arrived.Friday sees me teaching Nuno bags in York for Viking Looms,we have a great location which just inspires great creativity,the class is now full,sorry

I have also been working up some new prints using my current colour favourites.looking forward to seeing this design shrunk down in the Nuno process

One of the hardest things my students find us how to judge design size for Nuno as what looks good before felting can be totally lost during the Nuno process.Best way to solve this to eyeball it all everything A4 size, makes it easier.
In my design book I will have the work in monotone on paper,in silk,and on cotton,repeated with colour work and then my choice repeated pre-felt and the finished as in Nunofelt.

So off to work making more samples for my students in Belgium where Sharit Van De Meer and myself will be holding our 1st joint workshop together.
