Needing to see textures on a vessel or a bag led to the completion of this vessel using roving and bats
The vessel had its layer of roving both sides then the textured sections made with bats were then placed on with areas topped up with roving in same colour
Placing texture in a felted piece turns a 3d piece into deeper dimensions creating more illuminated shadows and folds
